Michael Worry
Project Manager and Engineer
Michael is CEO of Nuvation Engineering, an Electronics Design Services company, which provides project-based chip, board and software design services for the embedded systems industry. Leveraging his electrical engineering degree, his business experience brings discipline and drive to the team. Michael sits on the Board of Directors of Communitech and the Digital Moose Lounge, both technology networking organizations to match Nuvation’s offices in Waterloo, Canada and San Jose, California. Entrepreneur by day and engineer by night, his hobbies include combat robotics and FIRST robotics.

Robert Frankovich
Engineering Management and High Tech Venture Investor
Robert has 30 years of experience designing all types of integrated circuits-from memories and microprocessors, to graphic controllers and programmable logic. He has worked in six different countries: U.S., Holland, Germany, France, England, and Japan; and for several large companies: Fairchild, Phillips, and Altera and at several startups. Since 1988 Robert has been a High Tech Angel Investor, with two companies going public and six more as private operating companies. In his off time Robert enjoys working on combat robots, with two of his team’s robots ranked 1st and 3rd in the country. Robert has a B.S. from San Jose State University.

Barbara Hibino, Ph.D.

Barbara Hibino is CEO/Founder of OpenWebU, Inc. where she runs all aspect of operations of the e-learning firm. At OptaMotive, she is responsible for marketing, PR, business development, raising sponsorships and recruiting. Prior to this, as a Director at Oracle in applications development, she designed the first version of Business Intelligence, launched Oracle Property Manager and oversaw the Oracle Grants Management applications. Barbara holds a Ph.D. from Stanford University.

Scott Raymond
Race Engineer
Scott has worked for seven years in the racing industry and has extensive experience with data acquisition and analysis, vehicle simulation and ride analysis. Scott has engineered cars for world-class drivers such as Sebastien Bourdais, Gil de Ferran, Scott Dixon, Simon Pagenaud and Ron Fellows, and has won three Champ Car World Titles. He is currently the Performance Engineer for the de Ferran Motorsports Acura LMP1 entry in the American Le Mans Series.
